About the Artist

Henrietta Caledon was born in London in 1964.


With over forty years of experience as an international interior decorator, Henrietta has been heavily influenced in her use of colours from around the World in her paintings. For this exhibition, both her love of colour and abstract expression can be seen in her paintings ,including some of flowers as well as scenes of Chelsea, both of which are close to her heart.


· 2016-2020 Henrietta trained with artists Nick Bashall and Nicky Philipps at Studio Bashall Philipps at Rosetti studios and the sketch club in Dilke Street.

· 2018 Exhibited 3 paintings in a group exhibition at the Hurlingham Club.

· May 2019 Solo exhibition at Kiki McDonough.

· July – September 2019 Solo exhibition at Partridges, Duke of York Square.

· December 2020, Henrietta wrote and illustrated ‘Robin’s Covid-20 Christmas’ published and available on Amazon.

· 2021 It took Henrietta over a year to research the information for the Chelsea Riverside map. The artwork was hand painted and uploaded digitally.

· May 2022 The Chelsea Riverside Map was hung in Ropers Orchard Garden commissioned by Bafta award winning artist Alison Jackson on behalf of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea on a weatherproof di-bond finish. It remains on public display. The Royal Academy have a copy in their archives.

· May 2022  Giclee fine art prints-German etching on hahnemuhle paper of the Chelsea Riverside Map were released.  www.chelseariversidemap.com

· June 2022 Accepted to exhibit at The Chelsea Art Society Annual Exhibition at The Old Chelsea Town Hall.

·  2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025 exhibited at ‘House of Pots’, a group show curated by Preston Fitzgerald and Cedric Smith.

· Paintings have sold at both Joanna Wood and Penny Morrison’s shops.
